Form Security
The general tab also has a security section that gives options for security and who can run your form. Not all of the options are available in the Free Edition of the Forms Creator, most are only included in the Enterprise Edition.

Leave form unlocked - this is the default option and the only option available in the Free Edition. Your form can be run by any user who has installed the Forms Reader application.
Require matching MAC Address - This option only applies if you are a partner publisher with Vinade Solutions, it prepairs your form for the Forms Library. If you compile your form with this option you can't run the form unless it has been downloaded through the Forms Library. When an online form is purchased and downloaded the library edits the VSF file and adds the users MAC address and other details to the file. Now when the form is run the MAC address must match that of the MAC address saved in the VSF file. This controls piracy of your form.

Require a password - This option simply locks the form and prompting for a password before the form will even load, this just adds a little security for an internal or customer specific form.
Require a serial key - If you plan on selling your forms through your own distribution method and not through our Forms Library this option is for you. Just enter a random number that will be associated with your form, each 32 digit combonation can have millions of keys. While serial keys alone aren't the best way to fight piracy, this is why we have included the option of distributing your forms in our Library.
* To generate serial keys simple click Tools and Generate Serial Keys from the menu.
